A regular feature of AMA's activities are the weekly lecture and discussion meetings held every Friday round the year, on topics of current interest and importance in management. These meetings are addressed by local experts and visiting dignitaries. AMA also organises Open House Sessions to promote Management Awareness amongst people at large. These are classified into Finance, Marketing, Production, Human Resources, Materials Management, IT, Entrepreneurship, General Management and Quality. Almost 150 such Weekly Meetings and Open House Sessions are organised every year.

Organising training and development programmes on different functional areas of management and other subjects of contemporary significance, which are conducted by eminent experts invited from all parts of the country, is an ongoing activity at AMA. More than 80 such programmes are organised every year.

AMA also conducts tailor-made in-company training and development programmes on request from institutional members. Over 20 such programmes are organised every year.

AMA periodically organises Industrial Visits to leading Industrial Houses with a view to enable members to study plant operations and interact with executives of the concerned organisation.

Every alternate year a Convention on a contemporary relevant theme is organised where illustrious speakers are invited. The convention is attended by large number of people.

This is an annual event wherein a topical management theme is selected. The conferance is addressed by eminent management experts to interact and share their experience.

These are weeklong sessions of open-house lectures on a selected theme, which has relevance to the public at large. Almost a thousand people attend these programmes, and the proceedings are subsequently published and distributed amongst members and corporate houses.
