Evoking Questions from Children

Objectives:

It is said, “Questions are the mother of all the discoveries”. This century is the century of knowledge and to create knowledge we need to question the existing knowledge and traditions. According to Jean Piaget, Swiss psychologist, best known for his pioneering work on the development of intelligence in children, “When the child asks the questions, then he learns.” Let us help our children think and ask questions to make “I” in India stand for Innovation not Inhibition.

 

This workshop is designed to equip parents with practical strategies, activities and tips to help children think and ask questions. Strategies to handle the questions and responses of the children will also be discussed id detail.

The workshop will be highly participative and will be conducted using: Film Video Clips; Activities; Group Discussion; Questionnaires
