This course is specially aimed at Children, with all kinds of fun activities like French Songs, Games, Poems and much more. This programme is designed to stimulate Oral comprehension and Written comprehension through structured approach to grammar and communication skills.

Course Coverage:

1) Presentation:

 

• Learn to present yourself and others
• Learn to identify someone
• Learn to give your identity
• Reading and understanding a visiting card
• Taking leave (bye, see you, etc.)

 

2) Voyage:

 

• Learn to approach someone
• Learn to buy/reserve/confirm a ticket
• Learn to write an e-mail, a post card and a letter (friendly and non-friendly)
• Learn to understand a train ticket
• Telephonic conversation

 

3) Professional Life:

 

• At bureau
• Learn to organize a meeting
• Learn to prepare an agenda for someone
• Fixing a rendezvous
• Learn to prepare the projects for vacations
• Learn to describe the routine of someone

 

4) Party:

 

Fixing a meeting at restaurant

 

5) Situations:

 

• Giving directions to someone (Take right turn, go straight, etc.)
• Buying a gift for a friend
• Conversation between a shopkeeper & you
• Appearing for an interview
• Conversation between your boss and you
• Conversation between two friends, etc.

 

6) Linguistic Objectives:

 

Verbs; Accents;French sounds; Articles; Negation; Prepositions; Adjectives;Pronouns; Tenses; Writing an e-mail, a post card and a letter

 

7) Cultural Objectives:

 

• French gestures
• Image of France
• Things which you need to take into consideration while speaking to a French person

 

8) Project work :

 

Participants will do a project on a given topic. The theme of the project will be related to French Culture. The objective of this project work is to encourage the students to explore their abilities and to give an opportunity to share their knowledge with other classmates.

 

9) Final Examination consists of two parts:

 

(1) written exam
(2) a spoken exam

 

Fee :

 

Rs. 2,200/- per participant. Fee includes course fee, cost of book/manual. Fee once paid shall
not be refunded or transferred.
