Saturday, June 17, 2010 - 9.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Rational:

The year 2009, would be remembered in Indian History of International Business for signing of Two Free Trade Agreements with South Korea & Ten Countries of ASEAN Group comprising, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Burma, Laos, Brunei, Vietnam & Cambodia. While the respective Agreement was signed on 13th August, 2009, corresponding Customs Notifications were issued on 31st December, 2009.

Those Agreements, coupled with existing “Free & Preferential Agreements” provide a unique opportunity to competitive Indian Trade & Industry to reduce their “Import Costs” by identifying their Import Products from these Countries & Import the same Duty Free or at concessional rate of Import Duty by understanding and applying the process and methodology introduced.

This One day Interactive Workshop aims at acquainting the participants with total scope, procedure and documentation involved in Imports from Free Trade & Preferential Trade Countries. The stress would be more on practical aspect then theory.

For Whom:

The Workshop would be of interest to Import Managers, Material Managers, Corporate Managers, Commercial Managers, all Importers, Freight Forwarders and CHA’s.
