Preamble:

The world today is characterized by fast paced change, cutthroat competition, complexity and increasing customer demands. The recent economic tsunami has brought in more challenges. It is easy during good times to excel in profession. The real litmus test for a Manager is during times like now. The Manager of today should be able to blend leadership qualities and Managerial skills to bring out the best in those working with them.

 

Objective :

To equip the participants with the skills required to take on this challenge of working with and through people. The qualities required to be the Leader Manager are listed and tips for achieving Managerial Excellence are discussed and agreed upon.

 

Audience:

The one-day course is designed for Managerial and Supervisory cadre personnel who are in the job of getting things done with and through people.

 

Content :

The sessions deal with:
The Changed Scenario, Qualities of a Leader Manager, Being a Visionary/Missionary Manager, a Total Quality Manager, Mentor, Team Player/Builder/Manager and a Relationship Manager. The session also has inputs on frustration management.

 

It is important to believe that FIRST IMPRESSION IS THE BEST IMPRESSION; BUT IT IS ALL THE MORE IMPORTANT THAT LAST IMPRESSION HAS A LASTING IMPRESSION.

 

Faculty :

Mr. G. Balachandran, HRD Consultant and Certification Commissioner for JCI University, U.S.A. He held senior positions in Marketing in Multinational Corporation for over 14 years.
