SUMMARY
The global dyes and pigments market is expected to witness market growth at a rate of 4.5% in the forecast period of 2022 to 2029. The rise in the need from various application industries, such as textiles, paints and coatings, construction, and plastics is escalating the growth of the dyes and pigments market.

Indian industry has an advantage over other emerging nations. This industry sources over 300 types of raw materials and markets hundreds of products. It is not easy for any emerging nation to establish a viable paint, pigments & dyes industry in the foreseeable future. The country currently leads the world in dye production, with export of dyestuffs ranging from 16% to 18% in 2021-22. India exports dyes to more than 90 countries.

The Indian industry has a bright future in the export markets, especially as nations are attempting to come out of covid period and look at fast growth. The Gujarat manufacturers and merchant exporters should break new ground in markets of Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa.
