The pandemic had shifted the attention of people throughout the world on healthy lifestyle and is likely to increase focus on consuming organic products whether food, herbal medicine or home textiles. This is a high value export from India and we have a large & varied source of raw material.
Most of the major markets continue to show double digit growth rates, including India. The main reason for this growth can be attributed to the growing health concerns among consumers and increasing awareness with regard to the health benefits of organic food and other products. Other factors driving organic food sales across the globe include increasing income levels, improving standard of living, and government initiatives aimed at encouraging widespread adoption of organic products.
This workshop will provide an overview of the global as well as segment-wise market for organic products; and to motivate the entrepreneurs and SMEs to have a closer look at this market opportunity of the future.
