Uniform Customs & Practice for Documentary Credit (UCP 600) is a set of rules and regulations established by the International Chamber of Commerce to provide guidelines for issuing and using letters of credit (LC). From understanding how credit works, how payments are made, what is a bill of lading, insurance and covering the cost of goods, etc., the UCPDC-600 is a guide intended to govern/standardize international trade, and reduce the risks of trading goods and services.

Objective of this program is to impart knowledge to participants regarding the documentary credit to avoid
discrepancy and rejection of documents by banks.
