SUMMARY
The mega-billion entry of large firms gets the headlines — Tata’s Fab in Dholera, Micron’s facility in Sanand, PSMC’s technology partnership — but beneath these anchor investments lies a wealth of opportunity that Gujarat’s SMEs are uniquely placed to capture. Every Fab and ATMP facility being built sits at the centre of a web of hundreds of suppliers: components, chemicals, gases, testing equipment, packaging materials, and specialised services.
In mature semiconductor economies like Taiwan and South Korea, this supplier web is dominated by small and medium enterprises, not conglomerates. Gujarat’s MSME and exporters, sitting in the same state as some of India’s most significant anchor investments, have a proximity advantage most of the country doesn’t.
In this workshop, you will learn where MSMEs and exporters genuinely fit across the value chain, concrete business opportunities mapped to your investment scale, the certifications that gatekeep entry, available government incentives and financing pathways, and a practical sequencing strategy to enter, build credibility, and scale.
