Organic Content V/s AI Generated Content
Written by: Karnil Pancholi, PGDM Student, AMA
Introduction:
In this digital age, there’s a constant debate between organic content i.e. content created by humans, and AI-generated content i.e. content produced by algorithms and machine learning. Both approaches have their sets of merits and drawbacks, but the question remains: which one fits the algorithm better? In this blog, we’ll explore this intriguing topic, drawing insights from Mr. Amit Panchal and Mr. Parag Shah, two experts in content creation and digital marketing who had come to address the same queries at our impact Series 2023-24. But before we get into it, let us first develop a general understanding of it all.
Organic Content:
Authenticity and Creativity:
Organic content, crafted by human creators, often embodies authenticity, creativity, and empathy. It reflects the unique voice and perspective of the creator, resonating with audiences on a deeper level. Authentic content builds genuine connections and engagement, which can positively impact algorithmic performance.
Time and Effort:
Creating organic content requires time, effort, and creativity. Human creators invest their energy into crafting compelling narratives, visuals, and messages tailored to their audience. This personal touch adds value, human element and depth to the content, enhancing its relevance and appeal to both audiences and algorithms because at the end its us humans who influence the algorithm, right?
AI-Generated Content:
Efficiency and Scalability:
AI-generated content offers efficiency and scalability, enabling the rapid production of large volumes of content. Algorithms can analyse vast amounts of data to generate personalized content tailored to specific audiences, optimizing engagement and performance metrics. But again, the absence of human element makes it difficult for the content to move the audiences.
Consistency and Optimization:
AI algorithms excel at analysing performance data and optimizing content for maximum impact. They can identify trends, preferences, and keywords that resonate with the algorithm’s criteria, leading to consistent performance and higher visibility in search results and social media feeds. Moreover, with the help of GPTs and AI systems, prompt engineering has significantly resulted into an intensive generation of AI based content
Now, let us move further to the discussions that happened at our Impact Series
Insights from Mr. Amit Panchal and Mr. Parag Shah:
During a thought-provoking discussion at our forum, Mr. Amit Panchal emphasized the importance of striking a balance between organic and AI-generated content. He highlighted the value of human creativity and storytelling in creating authentic connections with audiences, which ultimately drives algorithmic performance and generates the desired outcome.
Mr. Parag Shah shared insights into the capabilities of AI-generated content in optimizing for algorithmic preferences. He discussed the role of data analytics and machine learning algorithms in identifying content attributes that resonate with search engine algorithms and social media algorithms, thereby enhancing content visibility and reach along with human emotions at the core of it all.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, the debate between organic content and AI-generated content revolves around finding the right balance between human creativity and algorithmic optimization. While organic content embodies authenticity and creativity, AI-generated content offers efficiency and scalability. By leveraging insights from human creators and algorithms, content creators can craft compelling narratives that resonate with both audiences and algorithms, driving engagement and visibility in the digital landscape.
