SUMMARY

Almost One third of global trade passes through merchant exporters and the same is true for India too. Merchant Exporters have several advantages. They can consolidate merchandise from many producers and suppliers to satisfy the needs of their importers and thus exercise greater control over prevailing prices.

According to a World Bank report, trade in goods and services is likely to more than triple by 2030. Over the same period, the global economy will probably expand from $35 trillion in 2005 to $72 trillion. The number of people considered “middle-class” will triple to 1.2 billion, enabling them to afford international travel, better education, and imported goods.

Today, with the deployment of technology such as eCommerce, virtual B2B events etc., it’s easier than ever before, for a small company, regardless of size, to sell goods and services across the globe.

Our exports to markets, near and far, from Myanmar to South America, Asean and African continent are growing fast. Gujarat provides a large number of agricultural and manufactured goods at globally competitive prices to enable Merchant Exporters to find new markets and expand business in existing markets.
