SUMMARY
The current geo-political scenario has taken a big toll on the momentum of global trade. However, the world’s economy, its international trade and supply chains are not frozen in time but changed in unexpected ways. Countries which did not held any significant place in exports are today giving strong competition to India in a number of industries where India held a premier position, such as garments, leather etc. At the same time, several emerging nations offer immense opportunities.
These global events present exporters with new opportunities to explore. At the same time, Atmanirbhar Bharat has introduced new products to the export market. The established exporter as well as new entrepreneurs must be alert to changing business dynamics to increase and diversify its exports and move into sectors where value addition and hence revenue is high.
This workshop will provide an overview of emerging opportunities and the strategy which can be adopted by exporters to provide a sustainable export business.
